As the General Manager, you are the captain of the day-to-day business operations of your region! You lead your local office towards our primary destination of an exceptional client experience for small and mid-size businesses which results in further business. On board, you have a crew of 15-50 members in the Help Desk Support, Engineering, Field Service and Projects departments including 1-5 supervisors who report directly to you. As a visionary and problem solver, you keep your region and, as a result, our whole company sailing ahead.

You constantly reevaluate your region's efficiency and productivity, charting a new course whenever necessary. Your ability to collaborate effectively with the other members of the leadership team on the national and local level is an important factor in your success. Together, you develop strategic marketing and sales plans based on short-term and long-term goals which you effectively communicate to your crew as you lead them forward to success. You also assist in developing and implementing corporate policies and standards. You are an influencer on both the local and national level.

Your excellent leadership skills come into play as you recruit, interview, hire, teach, mentor, and motivate your crew, ensuring a cohesive work culture where everyone feels valued and personally invested in our mission. You understand the importance of delegating and do so effectively. You always communicate and embody the Iconic IT vision and values, using your excellent interpersonal skills to maintain relationships built on trust with both clients and employees alike.

You also help keep us afloat financially. Your attention to detail is essential as you keep accurate and up-to-date financial records including profit and loss statements. You ensure that your "ship" can account for all costs and revenues and that all gross margin targets are met for customer agreements. You develop, allocate, and budget resources. You are not one to wait until you are in the midst of a storm to act. You ensure the best possible outcome by always looking ahead, making decisions, and taking action.



  • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years of related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Business acumen
  • Good reading and writing skills
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Basic experience with database, project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
  • Leadership skills
