A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

  • Use in house tools and ticketing system to develop, plan, and execute multi-phase projects within an established timeline and scope.
  • Manage all client communication and expectations as well as logistics and scheduled downtime for projects.
  • Be able to self-manage multiple projects at any given time ranging from New or existing server, workstation, and network infrastructure installations and/or migrations.
  • Completely track and capture all documentation on the new systems and environments that will ensure consistent and effective service for the reactive team to continue servicing the client post project completion.
  • Flexibility to work off hours and weekends to provide limited downtime for client environments.
  • Participate in the establishment, documentation, and refinement of processes that will ensure consistent and effective service

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN / IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST / HELP DESK ANALYST

  • Exposure and knowledge in M365 platform deployment
  • Cloud migration of server experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems environments including 2003, 2008, 2012, and 2016
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Group Policy administration
  • Strong knowledge of Firewall and network methodologies
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
